HIKING ON NACULA ISLAND

Located via a sign posted walking track at the rear of the resort, you are able to hike to the top of Neisau peak, referred to as the 'Mountain Peak hike', the peak is 238m high and suits most levels of fitness. 

The hike offers an altitude fix and respite from water-related activities found directly in front of the resort. Neisau peak also provides amazing views out and across the sprawling island of Nacula, which happens to be the third largest in the Yasawas at 21.7kms long. Whether you decide to hike all the way to the very top peak or only half way, you will be rewarded with stunning views the entire way. Should you commit to climb the Neisau Summit, you will be able to take in the vastness of the islands from up and down the island chain, from Yasawa island down to Naviti island and further. Sunrise and Sunset is the ultimate time to experience the magic of Nacula island.
Please note guided tours are available.

You will want to carry a small backpack, taking plenty of water, sunscreen, and a towel. Shoes are recommended especially on the higher trails the going can get a little rough and rocky. If you intend to watch the sunset, take a torch and it is recommended you inform the front office of your intentions for safety.

We do not recommend turning up in any of the villages unannounced/uninvited. There is a strict cultural etiquette regarding invitation, dress code and privacy.
