The Registration The resort can arrange a special license from the mainland of Fiji for the ceremony to take place at the resort, paper work can be submitted to the resort and we can liaise with the registrar office it is important to note that the bride and groom will need an original or certified copy of their respective birth certificates, their passports, a Statutory Declaration (Single status) certificate and if previously married, a copy of their divorce papers. You can also send scan certified copies to the resort for us to lodge for you. The license is valid for 28 days from date of issue.
The Ceremony The ceremony can be arranged at your choice of location within the resort or on the beach. This service is performed by our local Talatala (minister). These arrangements are to be made once you arrive to the island.
What is the Next step?
you have decided which option suits you best, you will have to decide
on a date for the actual ceremony as the Minister will be required to
approve of the arrangements, and confirm your dates. Legally binding
ceremonies will involve more email communication with the Resort.
will fall into place for you once you arrive to the island, please
note, the management team will be able to assist to act as witnesses for
your binding ceremony, and also be your photographer during the
ceremony, but any requirements for professional photos should be
explored prior to arrival to the island, along with any other
professional services you require.
